Aryel Davis LCSWA
Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate
Ananya Ranjan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate in North Carolina who works primarily with adolescents, adults, families and couples. She is an Independent Contractor, not an employee, thus she is individually responsible for all aspect of her client's care. She is independently insured and manages her own practice. She contracts with MACS PLLC for marketing, billing, and office space.
Aryel earned a Bachelor’s in Art Education, followed by her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of Kentucky. Aryel believes therapy should be a refuge where clients can learn, grow, and even laugh.
Aryel is passionate about supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, including (but not limited to) BIPOC, neurodivergent individuals (ADHD, Autism), and members of the LGBTQ+ community. She specializes in working with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, emotional awareness difficulties, communication concerns, and defining healthy relationships. As well as helping clients heal from unresolved trauma, navigate life’s complexities, and gain meaningful personal insight. Aryel strives to create a welcoming therapeutic environment that empowers, educates, and equips clients with practical tools to achieve their goals.
To support clients in reaching their fullest potential, Aryel uses evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD. Additionally, Aryel is training with MACS EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Team to provide EMDR therapy, which aids in resolving past trauma and emotional distress.
Having a work-life balance is important, and self-care isn’t selfish! In her free time, Aryel enjoys creating art, reading, traveling, baking, and going on walks with her dog.
Aryel currently accepts self-pay clients, BCBS, Meridian, Medcost, UHC, Out of Network, and HSA/FHA payments. She sees clients virtually and in person.
