Meghan Easterday, LCMHCA

Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate​

 

Meghan Easterday is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) who works primarily with adolescents and adults. She is an Independent Contractor, not an employee, thus she is individually responsible for all aspect of her client's care. She is independently insured and manages her own practice. She contracts with MACS PLLC for marketing, billing, and office space.  

 

Meghan has earned her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has clinical experience serving teens as well as adults struggling with self-harm and mood regulation with the use of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as well as adults with severe OCD symptoms utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure Response Prevention. Meghan is currently completing Adherent DBT training through the prestigious Linehan Institute and serves as a member of the MACS DBT Treatment Team under the supevision of Marissa Johnson, LCMHCS.

Meghan is interested in working with adolescents all the way to adults managing life changes, anxiety, depression, OCD, or mood disorders. When working with clients, she wants to make it a collaborative dynamic and allow clients to set manageable goals for themselves to achieve those goals. Meghan is skills at assuring all clients feel safe and comfortable sharing within the therapy space. She uses DBT, CBT as well as ACT within her practice. 

 

Meghan accepts BCBS, Meritian, Medcost, UHC, Cigna, Out of Network, FSA/HSA and Self Pay clients with daytime, afterschool and evening appointments in person in our Matthews and Mint Hill offices as well as virtual throughout NC for flexible client care.
