Donovan Greenlee, MSW, LCSWA
Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate
Donovan is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate (LCSWA) providing person-centered mental health services primarily to adolescents and adults. He is an independent contractor not an employee, thus he is individually responsible for all aspects of client care, however, he practices under the supervision of his approved LCSW supervisor. He is independently insured and manages his own practice. Donovan contracts with MACS PLLC for marketing, billing, and office space.
Donovan obtained a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of North Carolina - Charlotte (UNCC). He then went on to receive a Master’s in Social Work at the University of North Carolina - Charlotte (UNCC) . Donovan has a background in behavioral health practice and community-based services specifically providing intensive outpatient services and individual therapy.
Donovan's practice is focused on kids 8+, adolescents and adults by providing individual and family therapy. His goal is to provide support utilizing a strengths-based and solution focused approach. He incorporates CBT, mindfulness and narrative therapy techniques to highlight your successes and to address any negative perceptions you may have about yourself. He is also an EMDR trained therapist and is a member of our Trauma Team. EMDR is an evidence based treatment model to process unresolved feelings, negative perceptions about yourself, anxiety, and trauma.
He understands the importance of finding a therapist that affirms all of who you are. He also recognize the fact that every individual’s journey is impacted in various ways based on their identity and the systems that they interact with. Donovan's goal is to provide an environment of kindness and understanding to the individuals that I support to help them persevere.

Some topics that may be addressed include trauma, depression, anxiety, setting boundaries, and/or providing extra support and guidance in your life."

Donovan sees clients in person in our Matthews office and Virtually with afterschool and evening availability.
