London Perry, MSW, LCSWA

Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate

London Perry is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate (LCSWA) providing mental health services to Children (7-12), Adolescents (13-17), and Adults. She is an Independent Contractor, not an employee, thus she is individually responsible for all aspects of client care, however she practices under the supervision of her approved LCSW supervisor. She is independently insured and manages her own practice. London contracts with MACS PLLC for marketing, billing and office space.

London obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology along with a minor in Sociology from the University of North Carolina Asheville. She then went on and received a Master’s in Social Work at the University of Georgia with a focus on Clinical Practice.

London has a background in the behavioral health hospital setting and community based treatment, specifically providing intensive in-home services. She has engaged children, adolescents and adults in individual, group and family therapy and has experience in addressing mental health and behavioral needs such as anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, aggression, defiance, trauma and substance abuse. London has also worked with individuals with traumatic and acquired brain injuries on exercising their cognitive, vocational, social and physical abilities.

London uses a variety of therapeutic interventions depending on the client’s needs. She is skilled in using DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) interventions, Play Therapy and Art Therapy interventions and Traditional Talk Therapy, as well as incorporating Trauma-Informed Approaches when appropriate. She also enjoys using Collaborative Problem Solving which involves challenging clients to come up with their own solutions to problems and evaluating them in a safe and supportive environment. One of London’s goals is to become certified in DBT and TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) so that she can better serve her clients.

London believes that building a strong therapeutic relationship with clients is an important first step and is vital for clients to be successful. London’s approach to therapy is client-centered, holistic and strengths-based. She partners with clients to support them in recognizing their own self-worth and overcoming challenges. London appreciates the opportunity to work with clients from all socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds and the LGBTQ community.

In her free time London likes traveling and exploring new places, reading, eating out at good restaurants, going to concerts and spending time with her dog, Daisy.

London accepts Aetna, BCBS, CBHA, Self Pay and Out of Network Benefits.

Her office hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Friday and Saturday.
