PLAY THERAPY

Play Therapy is a therapy modality designed especially for children which uses the natural activity of play to communicate the child's experiences  feelings, worries and beliefs to a trained play therapist.  Children do not have the insight or vocabulary to directly verbalize their feelings or experience as adults do.  Playing is an essential part of children's cognitive development and emotional wellbeing.  Children as young as 3 to 12 years old can be helped by Play Therapy.
