Chaundra B. Fletcher is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA), a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (LCASA), and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Chaundra has experience working with Adolescents (ages 14 to 17) as well as Adults. She is an Independent Contractor, not an employee, thus she is individually responsible for all aspects of her client’s care. She is independently insured and manages her own practice. She contracts with MACS PLLC for marketing, billing, and office space.
Chaundra earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Montreat College, Charlotte campus. She has 10 years experience working with families and abused and neglected children with the Department of Social Services. Chaundra was the liaison for Union County Department of Social Services and the FBI in regards to Human Trafficking.
Chaundra has experience working with multicultural clients from all socioeconomic backgrounds. Chaundra has experience working with clients with issues involving addiction, trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, and depression. Chaundra uses an eclectic approach implementing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Traditional Talk Therapy, and Trauma Informed Approaches.
Chaundra is client centered and believes that each client is unique as is their life and their issues. The eclectic approach allows treatment to be tailored to the client’s specific issue as well as assisting the client in reaching their identified treatment goals. Chaundra’s goal is to create an inviting, safe space that encourages her clients to collaborate and work towards their goal.
Chaundra accepts Aetna, BCBS, CBHA, Medcost, Magellan, Medicaid, NC Health Choice, UHC, Out of Network and Self Pay.
Her office hours are Fridays and Saturdays.
