Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate
Charlotte Smith is a Licensed Professional Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) providing mental health services to Children (8 to 17), and Adults, Seniors, and Couples. She is independently insured and manages her own practice. Charlotte contracts with MACS PLLC for marketing, billing and office space.
Charlotte earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. She has a variety of experience working within the hospital system, as well as outpatient clinics where she worked closely with families and individuals navigating a variety of issues including couples issues, anxiety, depression, grief, and loss.
Charlotte specializes in Marital and Family issues, including families navigating marital issues, divorce, communication issues, and general family dynamics. She is a strengths based clinician who is supportive, compassionate and non-judgmental. She utilizes both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy in her work with Families and Couples, and feels as though the best treatment and healing happens when everyone collaborates together and works as a team.
When Charlotte is not in the office, she can be found polishing her photography skills on an adventure, flying her drone, or searching for the best Kombucha in Charlotte.
Charlotte accepts Aetna, BCBS, CBHA, Cardinal Innovations Medicaid, Medcost, MHN, NC Health Choice, UHC, Out of Network and Self Pay.
